Evonik Operations GmbH has announced a price increase for products under its Interface & Polyurethane Additives business line, effective immediately or as existing contracts permit.
According to the company, prices for all silicone-based products will increase by up to 10%, while all other products across the portfolio will rise by up to 15%, depending on the product. Evonik added that special products may face even higher increases.
The company said the adjustment is driven by exceptional cost inflation over the past year, particularly in recent weeks, across raw materials, labor, energy, utilities, packaging, and logistics.
Evonik stated that it has made extensive efforts to maintain supply, stabilize operations, and absorb cost pressures internally, but said a price adjustment has now become necessary. The company also noted that, given the ongoing uncertainty in the global market environment, further price revisions cannot be ruled out.
Evonik said it remains committed to providing high-quality additives, technical support, and reliable customer service, and that its account managers will contact customers regarding detailed implementation.
