BCI Builds Systems Plant in Jordan

Amman, Jordan – Baalbaki Chemical Industries (BCI), a leader in polyurethane systems, polyester polyol, and specialty adhesives, is building a  15kT/year system house in Amman, Jordan. The local market for CASE and rigid polyurethanes are its focus.

The company expects the plant to be complete and in production in July 2019.

The company said that the new plant will complement its network of facilities in Italy, the UAE, Egypt and Turkey.

‘We hope to continue to expand our reach in the EMEA region with further investments in system houses,’ said Hassan Baalbaki managing director of BCI.

In addition, his company is considering more regional distribution and technical service centres.
