A Chart Shows the Impact of SECCO Accident on MDI and TDI Markets

At 15:25 on May 12th, an accident took place when staff of AJEC were overhauling a storage tank of SECCO, causing 6 deaths. After the accident, relevant government departments immediately made emergency response. Leaders of the Shanghai Municipal Government gave clear instructions on the rescue work, and relevant municipal leaders rushed to the scene as quickly as possible. An investigation team has been formed jointly by Shanghai Administration of Work Safety and other departments. Now, the cause of the accident is under investigation. In addition, monitoring data from the environmental protection department shows that the accident has no impact on the environment.
