As the world transitions towards green growth, there comes a critical point of transformation in polyurethane industry. From June 25 to 27, 2025, the seventh Polyurethane Technology International Forum (PTIF), an international event bringing together global industrial elites and focusing on the topic of sustainability, will be held in Shanghai. Cosponsored by Shanghai Polyurethane Industry Association, the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and PUdaily, and organized by Shanghai Yihuatong Information Technology, the forum provides a platform for international exchanges that promote the green transformation and sustainability of the PU industry.
Abstract of the speech：
This report focuses on the structural design, synthesis process optimization, and application development of polyurethane materials. It highlights the technological progress in areas such as low-free pre-polymers, bio - based raw material substitution, and low - energy - consumption processing. Moreover, it presents successful application cases in fields like mining, transportation, and industrial automation. The related product systems offer polyurethane elastomer solutions with excellent mechanical properties and sustainability for high - performance application scenarios.
Personal Profile：
Graduated from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at East China University of Science and Technology. Since 2007, I have been engaged in the performance research of polymer materials such as polyurethane and related technology development. Currently, I serve as the Technical Director of the Polyurethane Business Unit in the Asia-Pacific region at UBE Asia-Pacific Technology Center, responsible for the synthesis and application development of special adhesives, coating systems, and elastomer materials.
